The Wall es una opera rock y una obra conceptual de Pink Floyd, señalada por la crítica y los seguidores del grupo como uno de los mejores trabajos de la banda (junto con Dark Side of the Moon y Wish You Were Here), que ha pasado a ser uno de los grandes clásicos del rock y cuya atmósfera morbosa y depresiva ha inspirado a muchos otros músicos de rock. El álbum consiguió 23 discos de platino y se situa en el tercer lugar de los discos más vendidos de todos los tiempos.
